Scout Saver Cards

(formerly known as Camp Cards)

Scout Saver Cards (camp cards)

“It’s not just Popcorn or Camp Cards, or just getting money. Fundraising is about social skills, communication, life skills. Learning how to handle rejection with dignity. In real life, that’s what you’re going to have to do. It prepares them to understand that not everything in life is given to you, it is earned. Goal setting, budgeting and planning, they’re huge life skills. Conflict resolution while maintaining manners and respect. To see them learn sales techniques, then sell one and they get excited, “I sold one! I sold one!”. Then they want to go sell another one.”

– Shelly Davis-Redford, 2018 Trail Blazer Day Camp Director, Pack 335
