Join us for the Weatherford Investment in Character Community Luncheon, an annual gathering of community leaders, supporters, and families dedicated to shaping the future of young people in Weatherford and the surrounding communities. This special event raises critical funds to support local Scouting programs, ensuring that youth have access to experiences that build character, leadership, and lifelong skills.
All proceeds from the luncheon benefit Longhorn Council, Scouting America, which serves thousands of youth across North and Central Texas. Through programs rooted in the values of Scouting America, young people develop confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of responsibility to their communities.
Scouting provides hands-on opportunities for adventure, service, and personal growth. From outdoor experiences like camping and hiking to leadership development and community service projects, Scouts gain practical skills while learning the importance of teamwork, integrity, and giving back. These programs are proven to help youth succeed in school, careers, and life.
