This cherished annual event unites visionary community leaders, passionate volunteers, and dedicated supporters of the Longhorn Council, Scouting America, as we celebrate outstanding achievements while investing in tomorrow’s leaders.

Bob Wolfe
This year, we are proud to honor Bob Wolfe, a dedicated community leader whose lifetime of service has made a lasting impact throughout the Burleson area.
His career spanned 7.5 years as a U.S. Air Force veteran and meteorologist/ weather forecaster, 1.5 years at General Dynamics programming missile simulations, 7 years at local Gearhart Industries pioneering horizontal drilling, 18 years with IBM, and finally 11 years as VP at THUMBTECHS IT support company, and finally retirement. Bob has continued his commitment to serving others through his leadership on the board of the Burleson Lions Club as they eye and ear screen BISD and private school students annually and the club’s many other community service projects.
He is also VP of the Bethesda Water Supply Company board of directors and another non-profit board, further demonstrating his dedication to strengthening the community. Bob’s selfless service and unwavering commitment to helping others embody the values celebrated by the Good Scout Award.
