Troop 1910 shows how to properly honor and retire our US Flag this Memorial Day

Longhorn Council Scouts BSA Troop 1910 shows how to properly honor and retire our US Flag this Memorial Day.

Many of our LHC Scouters are Veterans and even more, including myself, have Veteran relatives whom they honor on Memorial Day.  We remember and pray for our departed every year while most of us proudly wave our American Flag.

LHC Troop 1910 provides a short video in which they explain what the “Stars and Stripes” means and how to properly retire our US Flag.  Retiring our nation’s flag is a tradition with Boy Scouts of America and this Memorial Day, we say thank you to all who fought for our right to Pledge Allegiance and have passed on.

Please watch the video (link is below) and remember to post your #ScoutSalute and #NoVeteranEverDies hashtags on social media.
