Join a Scout Troop

The Adventure begins right here!

Starting in February 2019 boys and girls ages 11 to 17 will both be welcome to join separate Scout Troops. The scouting curriculum, outdoor adventures, and all rank requirements are staying exactly the same. Girls will now have the opportunity, in separate Troops, to complete the same requirements, earn the same merit badges and ranks, do the same projects and activities, and eventually become an Eagle Scout.

The Boy Scout program name will change from the “Boy Scout” program to the “Scouts BSA” program. The organization name, Boy Scouts of America, will not change.
