Our Scouts Join Forces To Assist The Fort Worth Association of Federated Women’s Club Inaugural Food Give Away

We applaud the efforts by our Scouting units from the Longhorn Council Western Service Area.

Last weekend, Scouts from Trinity Trails District Troop 216 and Lone Star Troop 528 assisted the Tarrant County Food Bank during the Fort Worth Association of Federated Women’s Club Inaugural Food Give Away.

These units remind everyone that a “Scout is Helpful,” especially during tough times.  The troops followed social distancing procedures, endured masks, gloves, and more to help out.

Pictures of our Scouts in action helping are below.  Thank you to Scoutmasters Michael Jones of Troop 216 and Tony Lampkin of Troop 528 who contributed the pictures.

Thanks to Lone Star District and Trinity Trails District Scouts and Scouters for helping with this important event.
