“Cub Scout springs into action — twice — to save family members’ lives” from BOS
Steven Sanders was a Webelos (Cub) Scout in 2018. That year will forever be remembered by his family since he saved his 3-year-old brother and his great-grandmother’s life- on separate occasions. Yes, he saved two lives on different days within the same year.
According to his mom, the basic first aid skills he learned in Scouting coupled with this calm demeanor allowed him to be a life-saver. “Steven has always been a calm and kind kid, his mom says; Scouting has helped him Be Prepared for anything.”
