2014 Fall Voice of the Scout Survey is Live October 7
The latest Voice of the Scout survey is out! Thousands of Scouts, parents, volunteers, and chartered organizations are receiving the latest Voice of the Scout survey from the Boy Scouts of America. To receive a survey, someone in the Scouting household must have email information on file in the BSA ScoutNET system.
VOS is a tool to help BSA learn what to improve to help us all deliver better programs for your kids! It’s about communicating our strengths and challenges and helping BSA improve. It’s designed to help all of us deliver experiences that surpass the expectations of Scouts, leaders, and families.
The Voice of the Scout process needs the participation of the Scouts, parents, and volunteers. Please take a moment and help us get the insight we need to help the Boy scouts of America deliver more compelling and effective programs. Please let your unit know the survey is coming, and encourage everyone to participate.
For the fall 2014 release (October 7-22), those units where the responses from Cub Scout parents, Boy Scouts/Venturers, or Boy Scout parents total more than 50 percent of the unit’s youth membership will be entered into a drawing to win $500.
Drawings will be done at the area level, with a potential of 27 total awards. Winners will be announced in November with a direct communication to the unit leader and the council Key 3. Units that meet this threshold will be featured in the next VOS infographic as well.
Thank you for taking the time to answer the VOS survey.
