Cub Scout Leader Pow-Wow 2007: Along the Scouting Trail

WHAT IS POW WOW?
A Cub Scout leader’s learning event!! A day of fun-filled, action-packed hands-on supplemental training sessions to enhance the leader’s ability to deliver a fun and exciting program to the boys of Cub Scouting.

WHEN IS POW WOW ’07?
On Saturday, November 10, 2007, hundreds of Scout leaders from the Longhorn Council and surrounding areas will gather at Everman High School to spend the day reaching for the arrow. The doors open at 8:00 am for registration, sign-in, and packet pick-ups. Opening ceremony begins at 8:45 am so sessions will begin promptly at 9:00 am.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
All registered Cub Scout leaders, potential leaders, and interested parents, including Tiger Cub Leaders, Den Leaders, Webelos Leaders, Cubmasters, and all Assistants, Pack Committee, and Pack Committee Chairpersons. Classes will be offered on subjects relevant to every Cub Scouting position to help make your Cub Scout program more fun and effective!

Note: Pow Wow is a day for Adult Training only. There are no provisions made for youth of any age. Please make your own child care arrangements for the day. Thank you.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO POW WOW?
• Wear you Cub Scout uniform, if you have one
• Bring a notepad, pen and, a totebag
• Bring a camera and/or recording device(optional)
• Enthusiasm and Scout Spirit
