How to Register for Jamboree

  2. Send the $300 deposit to the Longhorn Council office with the registration form.
  3. Contact the Registrar to make a flexible payment plan and choose a Jamboree Trip.

Contact the Camping Registrar to make flexible payment arrangements and a payment plan (monthly, bi-monthly, etc.) that suits your family’s needs.

The Jamboree fee will cover transportation, lodging, adventure tour costs, meals, the BSA National Jamboree Fee, insurance, most patrol and troop equipment, contingent T-shirts, a pack, patches, a caving headlamp, and all food & supplies for the mandatory council contingent training encampment (at Worth Ranch on a weekend in April or May 2017).

All major camping gear (tents, cooking gear, etc.) is provided by the National Jamboree upon arrival. Additional costs for participants will be personal equipment purchases needed for the trip (sleeping bags, hiking boots, etc.), patches for trading, and spending money for the trip.

NOTE:  All participants must pass the BSA Swimmer’s test.
