LCRS
- Longhorn Council Reservation System
Make a Weekend Camping Reservation Online
Units
can reserve specific campsites, facilities, and equipment instantly
at each Longhorn Council camp. Note that campsites, facilities, and
equipment will not appear in the LCRS if they have already been reserved.
District Events, Training events, and Camporees must still submit
a paper reservation form to the Camping Registrar.
NOTES: At this time, paper reservations may still be used for unit
camping requests. On the paper form, units may request a campsite;
however, the actual assignment of campsites will be made by the Camping
Department. Units using the LCRS online system may reserve specific
campsites directly.
Online reservations, once submitted, are immediate. Paper reservations,
once they are received, must still be entered into the online database
by the Camping Registrar before the reservation is complete.
Future developments of this system include event registration, training
course registration, summer camp reservations, and more.

Note: All Pack Family Camping requires one adult certified in BALOO,
the Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation. Camp Rangers cannot allow
a Pack to camp without a BALOO certified leader onsite. Rangers cannot
give any exceptions to this BSA policy.
