Rocket PreOrder Form
Scouts and units may pre-register for Model Rocketry at the Council Camporee
- where you can assemble, paint, and launch model rockets. The rockets will
be launched from our new mega-launch pads capable of firing 24 rockets at one
time. A spectacular sight!!! Each rocket may be launched multiple times. Scouts
can keep their finished rockets. Rocketry is available to Boy Scouts at the
Camporee and to Cub Scouts at the Cub Scout Fun Day.
You can reserve rockets and motors for your unit with the form below. Extra
rockets may be available on-site in small quantities, but are not guaranteed
without pre-order. Price: $10 for one rocket kit and two motors. Extra motors
are $2.00 each. (FYI: the Space Exploration Merit Badge requires two launches.)

The rockets are Estes E2X kits with pre-assembled fins. Assembly should take
less than an hour. Estes B6-4 motors are used as the primary motor. More powerful
motors will also be available at the launch site. There will be a large assembly

area is being planned at this time. The charge for paint is $1.00 (pay for paint
onsite).
