Part of our fleet heads for the marina on the last day of camp in 2005 - we have 23 pontoon boats, 30 sailboats, and 6 wakeboard & ski boats.

New for 2009: a full scale replica Viking Ship - large enough to be registered as a Class B Tall Ship.

Our battery of howitzers fires during a battle reenactment at the US Cavalry Outpost.

The new Covert Ops headquarters in action.

We added a second Blob to our Water Park dock in summer 2004.

Ambushed! Now drive 'em back Texas Rangers!

Preparing to take off on an Ultimate Tubing War - the winner is the last person on the tubes.

Crews sailing on Lake Bridgeport in July, 2005.

A Chisholm Trail crew arrives at the Sailing Base for an afternoon of sailing or windsurfing.

Swimming in the open water of Lake Bridgeport - a bonus for every crew.

Chisholm Trail is a unique high adventure for older youth and adults. It’s a backpacking program, but you’ll use boats instead of boots. You get a pontoon boat for a week to travel to the high adventure and watersports bases on our 16 miles of Lake Bridgeport shoreline. You’ll see rugged and beautiful parts of our camp that even Longhorn troops rarely see! Reserve by October 15th and get 2008 prices.

Plan to spend a lot of time on the water! Chisholm Trail participants spend every afternoon at a watersports base and the rest of each day and the following morning at a high adventure outpost. Outposts are U.S. Cavalry, Texas Rangers, Covert Ops, Comanche Village, Climbing, Sporting Clays, COPE, and Scottish Highland Games and NEW for 2009: Area 51, Viking Ship, and Fast Draw (Cowboy Action Shooting). Our staff will do their best to give your crew an outstanding high adventure experience!

Troops and Crews from 43 states, England, Scotland, and Mexico have come to Chisholm Trail. We are 70 miles from DFW airport. Pontoon boats, gas, food, and ice are included. Chisholm Trail is quite a deal: Pontoon boats rentals at private marinas on area lakes cost $45 - $60 per hour, plus gas.
