Chisholm
Trail is a unique high adventure for older youth and adults. Its
a backpacking program, but youll use boats instead of boots.
You get a pontoon boat for a week to travel to the high adventure
and watersports bases on our 16 miles of Lake Bridgeport shoreline.
Youll see rugged and beautiful parts of our camp that even Longhorn
troops rarely see!
Plan to spend a lot of time on the water! Chisholm Trail participants
spend every afternoon at a watersports base and the rest of each day
and the following morning at a high adventure outpost. Outposts are
U.S. Cavalry, Texas Rangers, Covert Ops, Comanche Village, Climbing,
Sporting Clays, COPE, and Scottish Highland Games and NEW
for 2009: Area 51, Viking Ship, and
Fast Draw (Cowboy Action Shooting). Our staff will do their
best to give your crew an outstanding high adventure experience!

Troops and Crews from 43 states, England, Scotland, and Mexico have
come to Chisholm Trail. We are 70 miles from DFW airport. Pontoon
boats, gas, food, and ice are included. Chisholm Trail is quite a
deal: Pontoon boats rentals at private marinas on area lakes cost
$45 - $60 per hour, plus gas.
