National Youth Leader Training Course (NYLT) - New!
Twin Arrows National Youth Leadership Training is the premier co-ed youth leadership development course for registered youth members of Troops and/or Venture Crews in the Longhorn Council. It brings together youth leaders from all over the council to learn and apply the skills they need to be effective leaders in their patrols, Troops and Venture Crews. This course draws upon the most current leadership models used by corporate America, academic circles, and successful outdoor leadership organizations throughout the country. This exciting and fast-paced training discusses team development and appropriate leadership strategies to enable patrols and troops to reach their highest performance level. Experience the ultimate in Youth Leadership training.
Participants must:

Be a registered member of a BSA Troop or BSA Venture Crew.

If you are attending as a Boy Scout you should have earned your 1st Class Rank by the start of the course.

Be 13 years of age by the first day of the course and not older than 18 years of age.

Have his/her Unit Leader's approval.

Be capable of functioning safely in an outdoor environment.

Have experience in camping, cooking, and first aid skills.

Successfully pass the BSA Class 2 Physical.
