Longhorn Council is home to
Texas High Adventure Base, offering outstanding BSA High Adventure programs. The
Texas High Adventure Base includes unique
Chisholm Trail Adventure outpost programs, watersports, and Blobbing. Scouts from 43 states, England, Scotland, and Mexico have done High Adventure at
Chisholm Trail.
Chisholm Trail participants use pontoon boats for their high adventure on a 10,000 acre Lake. Each High Adventure crew gets a pontoon boat to visit the high adventure outposts on our 15 miles of Lake Bridgeport shoreline! We have 10 High Adventure outposts and 3 High Adventure watersports bases featuring Blobbing, sailing, and wakeboarding. We do living history battle reenactments at our US Cavalry, Texas Ranger, and Viking Ship, and Area 51 Outposts. Click here for
